Thank you for using CalTools.net! Our terms and conditions are constantly evolving, and more so when we are still in beta phase. Our goal here is to be transparent about how CalTools.net uses/protects the information you enter during your stay on CalTools.net.

CalTools.net uses localStorage of your browser to store the information you enter on CalTools.net through "Basic Information" and "Report Config" forms. CalTools.net uses the stored data to pre-populate dashboards and forms when you revisit CalTools.net.

When you use CalTools.net, during your stay on CalTools.net, information you enter and the information accessed through your browsers, is used by either CalTools.net or by third party services used by CalTools.net.

CalTools.net does not collect any personally identifiable information through its forms. CalTools.net only uses data you enter in the forms; "Basic Information" and "Report Config". CalTools.net collects following information in the aforesaid forms to calculate your macro-nutritional requirement:

• Gender
• Age
• Height
• Weight
• (Report configuration related information)

CalTools.net securely (through TLS 1.x) sends aforesaid information to servers. These servers are procured and managed by CalTools.net on industry leader cloud platforms. On server(s), CalToools.net prepares personalized caloric requirement on the basis of information you filled in the form or configuration you chose in report configuration. Once the data is prepared and returned to your browser, all information sent to our servers gets removed automatically (complete process scope gets garbage collected). CalTools.net does not store any information-gathered from you, or related to you- on its servers.

We use google analytics to serve you with better experience. In future, CalTools.net may serve ads through AdSense. Google Analytics and AdSense are both google products and you can know about their policies related to data access and collection here.

CalTools.net is not a medical information site. CalTools.net does not provide medical consultancy. The tools available for your use on CalTools.net are intended to give you suggestion about your individualized macro-nutritional requirements. CalTools.net does not claim that results generated by the tools on CalTools.net represent your individual medical needs and requirements as far as caloric intake is concerned. No generic tools can give medically accurate personalized information. The best strategy is; use the generated information from this tool as a rough guide and consult your health professional to plan and design nutritionally enriching personalized diet for your medical need.

Users of CalTools.net are allowed to access CalTools.net only through well-known secured browsers. Unless otherwise noted in the digital assets itself (for example as comment in the code file) or elsewhere, all code, text, data, images - raster or vector, designs, logic design etc., accessible through CalTools.net are protected under international copyright laws. If you are not a search engine or related service, DO NOT, by any means, like, including but not limited to, manually or through robots, engines, or crawlers, copy and/or duplicate, or reverse engineer, in digital, physical, or other form, and/or use data, text, code, image, auth token from CalTools.net website or API. Search engines and other authorized partners are allowed to crawl/access CalTools.net to store/process data from CalTools.net for the purpose deemed fit for providing search and find capabilities to their users through their sites, apps, and other means.

Alternatively, though the developers of CalTools.net made all the efforts possible to not use any material which infringes upon someone’s copyright, but, if you come across some material on CalTools.net which you think is an infringement on your copyright, please contact us through info@CalTools.net with the subject line - "My Copyright Material Found on CalTools.net", and in the body of the mail please describe the content you think has your copyright. After inspection, if we find the claim to be valid, we will immediately remove the said item from CalTools.net and heartily thank you for pointing it out to us.

Before using CalTools.net you specifically agree that the use of CalTools.net online tools, content and services, is at your risk, solely. CalTools.net refutes any assurance that the CalTools.net website will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Content provided by CalTools.net is on an 'as is' basis and CalTools.net does not warrant, expressed or implied, and disclaims any implied warranties of fitness for medical or other purpose, and non-infringement. No information obtained through CalTools.net shall be taken as warranty from CalTools.net, not clearly stated in this agreement.
